Our story
The project b. founding team has run a real payroll bureau. We have built and shipped ITSG-certified payroll software. We have sat on both sides of the table — processing payroll for hundreds of companies and building the systems that process it.
We know what the daily reality looks like: emails with attachments nobody can find, clients who send data in every format imaginable, last-minute corrections that cascade through the whole run. We have lived it.
In 2023, we started building project b. in Munich. Not to replace DATEV or SBS or Agenda — but to build the intelligent layer in front of them that makes payroll actually work in 2026.
